Bios

Barry A. Shier, Managing Principal

Barry has been involved in all facets of the hospitality, travel, gaming and entertainment industries for over 30 years. Throughout his career, he has worked with industry pioneers within the resort, gaming and entertainment sectors including a 17-year career with Steve Wynn and Mirage Resorts, Inc. Barry is considered a leading authority in the hospitality, travel and gaming industries. His operational perspective, proven track record and instinctive insight provide a unique understanding of all aspects of the business.

Stephen A. Jarvis, Principal

Steve has a broad range of experience and has held senior management positions in finance and an operational capacity over the course of the past thirteen years. Steve, a licensed CPA, began his career with Ernst & Young, LLP. In this role, he served a wide-range of public and private clients with annual revenue in excess of $4 billion and an emphasis in hospitality, real estate and entertainment. He also served as SVP and CFO of FXRE, a publicly traded hotel and entertainment destination company.

Joe E. Humphry, Principal | Global Distribution Division

Joe is a 33-year veteran of the travel industry and the founder and CEO of the Dallas-based Humphry Services Corporation, providing marketing and operational solutions to some of the travel industry's most successful companies. Joe served as an executive at American Airlines, Trans World Airlines, Inc., Travel Sales International, and as CEO of TravelWeb, the merchant model hotel distribution company founded by Hilton, Hyatt, InterContinental Hotels, Marriott, Starwood Hotels and Pegasus Solutions.
